Anti-Discrimination and Anti-Racism Policies

All students and staff have a right to feel safe and comfortable at school. The DET has many policies and procedures to ensure that schools remain free from harassment of any kind.

Should anybody at SHHS have been harassed because of their ethnicity, culture or gender then the incident should be reported so as it can be dealt with.

The Year Advisors, Ms. Brewer and other key personnel have all received training in dealing with anti-racism and anti-discrimination issues so feel free to approach them should you have any concerns or issues to discuss. Your approach will be dealt with confidentially and with sensitivity.
